Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show Starring BEYONCÉEditAs the new face of Pepsi, Beyoncé headlined the Pepsi-sponsored Super Bowl XLVII halftime show at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Lousiana, on February 3, 2013. Although she signed on for the job back in the summer of 2012, the official announcement did not come until October 16, 2012.
History was made. Records were broken. Beyoncé conquered. Any questions?

As the stage fog rose and the fire blazed, the instrumental of "Run the World" played to set the powerful mood. She started off the show with an a capella rendition of "Love On Top", transitioning into a medley of her past chart-toppers and a surprise Destiny's Child reunion.
